Before cycling, I was a professional Telemark World Cup skier. I have a Bachelor of Science in snow mechanics (yes, that is a thing) from Montana State University and a Master's in City and Metropolitan Planning from the University of Utah. I was a professional off-road racer from 2016 to 2024 and coach since 2017. In 2024, I retired from professional cycling and transitioned to coaching and working as an active transportation planner (designing pedestrian and cycling infrastructure for cities). I have experience racing at various lengths and in multiple disciplines. My favorite professional memory was finishing third at Migration Gravel in 2023, sharing the podium with Lachlan Morton and Lucas Baum. I've worked with a variety of athletes, from juniors to pros. I specialize in youth development. I aim to instill a lifelong passion for cycling by combining analytics and fun. I have coached riders in the following disciplines: marathon MTB, Olympic MTB, gravel, and road. While I stand by my success, I always look for ways to improve my practice.
